From 2018 forward, all core statistics will be kept. This will be done for several reasons that include -
1) Jim Arnold's assessment of his 65% plus win rate and how Mickey's 30% plus doesn't deserve reward.
2) Establish a draft grade for captains. This can be used for future captains to determine who to listen to and who to send to the other team.
3) Enhance the competitive nature of egomaniac statfreaks that focus on Fantasy Sports and other worldly meaningless hobbies.
4) Provide Fagan with numbers to back up his Mexican Rankings
